Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Accountant with at least 3 years of experience in the UAE market. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Handle accounts payable and receivable functions. Reconcile bank statements and company financial transactions. Assist in budget preparation and financial planning. Ensure timely and accurate VAT returns and tax filings. Monitor and manage cash flow and internal controls. Liaise with auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably in the pharmaceutical or trading sector. With minimum of 3yrs experience in Trading Industry (preferred) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proficiency in accounting software (knowledge of ERP systems is a plus). Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Valid UAE driving license is a must.
