About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

General Accountant

to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have

3-4 years of hands-on experience in the contracting/construction industry

within the region. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the finance team with budgeting, reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle full cycle accounting including Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable, GL entries, reconciliations, and payroll Maintain accurate records of all project-related financial transactions Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Monitor and manage cash flow and bank transactions Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and other financial regulations Support internal and external audit requirements Liaise with project managers, suppliers, and clients for financial matters

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

3-4 years of UAE experience in the contracting/construction industry

Solid understanding of accounting principles and project cost control Proficient in accounting software

(e.g., QuickBooks, or ERP systems)

Strong knowledge of

UAE VAT

regulations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and within a team

Can join Immediately and must be staying in Dubai Only

Preferably cancelled Visa

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
