We are currently seeking a
General Accountant
to join our logistics team in Ajman. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting within the logistics or freight forwarding industry, with strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including billing and invoicing
Prepare and review VAT returns as per UAE FTA guidelines
Maintain accurate general ledger records and monthly closing activities
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Monitor freight and logistics cost accounts and ensure accurate expense tracking
Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal departments
Use accounting software such as Zoho, Tally, or other ERP systems
Prepare financial reports and assist in audit processes
