About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

F&B General Accountant

to oversee and manage the full accounting cycle for multiple client accounts within the food and beverage industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in hospitality or F&B accounting, strong analytical skills, and a hands-on approach to financial management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations across multiple F&B client accounts. Record and reconcile sales, purchases, inventory, and cost of goods sold (COGS). Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with accuracy and timeliness. Ensure compliance with

UAE VAT

regulations, including preparation and filing. Coordinate with client operations teams to monitor revenues, expenses, and budgets. Support

month-end closing

, reconciliations, and audit requirements. Assist in

budgeting, forecasting

, and financial analysis to support management decisions. Monitor and improve internal controls related to cost, inventory, and cash management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Accounting, Finance, or a related field

. Minimum

6 years of accounting experience

, preferably within the

F&B or hospitality industry

. Strong understanding of

F&B cost structures

, inventory control, and

POS system integrations

. Proficient in

accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)

and

MS Excel

. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of

UAE tax laws

,

FTA VAT

, and

corporate tax regulations

.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in

food & beverage, hospitality, or restaurant accounting

. Strong knowledge of

financial reporting

and

month-end closing procedures

. Hands-on experience with

inventory management, purchasing, and costing systems

. Ability to handle multiple client accounts and deliver high-quality results under deadlines.
