Position: General Accountant
Location: UAE
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor all financial aspects related to construction and project execution.
Prepare and maintain payment schedules for contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
Verify and process invoices based on work completion and approved contracts/BOQ.
Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and external vendors for payment-related matters.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and generate financial reports as required.
Support in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking actual project expenses.
Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and filing of financial records.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience, preferably in the construction or contracting industry.
Strong knowledge of local financial practices and project accounting.
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho).
Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently.
UAE driving license is an advantage.
