We are looking for a skilled

Garment Technologist

to join our team and ensure that all garments meet the highest quality, fit, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Review design sketches, tech packs, and patterns to ensure production feasibility. Oversee sample development from proto stage to final production sample. Conduct garment fittings to check fit, drape, and construction accuracy. Provide clear technical comments and approvals at every sample stage. Check patterns, measurements, and grading for accuracy and consistency. Ensure garments meet size, fit, and fabric performance requirements. Identify and resolve production or construction issues before bulk production. Monitor pre-production samples for quality compliance. Define garment testing requirements (shrinkage, colourfastness, strength, etc.). Prepare and maintain technical specification sheets and documentation. Provide technical instructions to factories for consistent production quality. Support the QC team in resolving quality claims and rework issues. Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and production teams to meet deadlines. Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding fabrics, trims, and production techniques. Ensure adherence to AQL standards and company quality policies.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, or Garment Manufacturing. 3-7 years of experience as a Garment Technologist or similar role. Strong knowledge of garment construction, fitting, fabrics, and quality standards.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
