The FSTD Compliance & Regulatory Specialist is required to:
- Maintain Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTD) as per CAE and Regulations Standards.
- Maintain National Aviation Authorities (NAA) certifications for all simulators in Dubai.
- Coordinate with the NAAs for evaluations support and to ensure FSTD regulatory Compliance.Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all initial and recurrent FSTD qualifications with all NAAs.
- Support internal and external audits.
- To maintain and manage the validity of National Aviation Authorities (NAA) certifications for all simulators in Dubai.
- To produce NAA reports on-time and as required.
- Schedule a program to achieve all the milestones required by the regulator related to objective testing of the device. (QTG\xe2\x80\x99s)
- Identify the need and plan updates/modifications on FSTDs to meet regulatory, customer and training requirements.
- Support and integrate software modifications on FSTDs related to performance system and QTGs.
- Lead and support simulator acceptance and updates.
- Assist members of the Technical Support staff in resolving complex technical problems related to performance system and QTGs.
- Ensure that all requirements for the CAE QMS in relation of the NAA standards are adhered by ECFT which includes amongst other things the running of SFTS (subjective flight test schedule) and deficiency report (DR) clearance sessions.
- Present the results of this program to the regulatory authorities
- Review technical updates to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities
- Interact with authorities, instructors, other engineers/technicians, and customers.
