Job Description

Key responsibilities

Manage reservations:

Handle incoming reservation requests from guests, travel agents, and companies via phone, email, or other online platforms.

Process bookings:

Accurately input and confirm booking information into the reservation system.

Maintain availability:

Keep room availability information current on online booking platforms and the hotel's internal systems.

Handle inquiries:

Respond to guest inquiries about room types, rates, and availability.

Provide guest service:

Assist guests with special requests, cancellations, and other booking-related needs.

Collaborate with other departments:

Communicate with other hotel departments, such as front office and housekeeping, to ensure all guest needs are met.

Meet revenue targets:

Contribute to meeting monthly revenue goals by maximizing occupancy and managing bookings effectively.
Required skills and qualifications

Experience:

Previous experience in a hospitality or reservations role is often preferred.

Technical proficiency:

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with reservation systems and Microsoft Office.

Customer service:

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Attention to detail:

Ability to ensure booking information is entered correctly and accurately.

Language skills:

Fluency in English is typically required, and other languages are a plus.
