Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to ensure compliance with safety regulations across our various project sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety guidelines, relevant certifications, and the ability to manage safety protocols effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and company standards. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Provide safety training and induction programs to employees and subcontractors. Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures. Ensure all safety equipment is maintained and used correctly. Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety measures are integrated into project planning and execution. Maintain records of safety-related activities and compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HSE role within the construction or related industry. NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent certification is mandatory. Valid UAE driving license and access to a personal vehicle. Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Malayalam; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage. Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with safety management systems and reporting tools. Ability to conduct training sessions and safety drills. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
