Job Description

SME Electromechanical LLC is currently seeking a Health and Safety Officer for our project in Dubai. This is a temporary, project-based role, and we require candidates who possess their own visa. Please refer to the qualifications and key responsibilities below:

Qualifications:

2-3 years of construction-related experience (mandatory)

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred

Strong communication skills for conducting site safety inductions

Must have your own visa (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Implementing the site safety program and ensuring compliance with client requirements

Conducting safety orientations and trainings

Attending project HSE progress meetings with clients

Maintaining the health and safety communication structure and distributing necessary documents to subcontractors

Testing the effectiveness of emergency response plans

Monitoring the duties of safety staff on-site

Reviewing and updating health and safety plan reports

Conducting health and safety inspections and preparing project reports

We are specifically looking for freelancers due to the project-based nature of this commitment.

Job Types: Permanent, Temporary, Contract

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
