The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day operations, ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role requires a hands-on approach and strong leadership to manage a team of technicians and laborers, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage
the maintenance team, including scheduling work, assigning tasks, and providing guidance.
Conduct regular inspections
of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
Plan and implement
preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Lead by example
and provide hands-on assistance with maintenance and repair tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general civil works.
Ensure strict compliance
with all company safety regulations and local health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards.
Manage inventory
of tools, equipment, and supplies, and ensure materials are available for scheduled jobs.
Prepare and maintain
accurate work reports, including daily progress, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Train and mentor
junior staff, helping them develop their skills and adhere to best practices.
Coordinate with other departments
and external contractors to ensure seamless operations and timely project completion.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. A technical diploma or certification in a related trade (e.g., electrical, mechanical, or civil) is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman position.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings.
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation:
AED 2,500 per month + Accommodation.
