FM Supervisor (Facilities Management Supervisor)
Job Title: Facilities Management (FM) Supervisor
Department: Facilities Management
Reports To: Administrative Manager or Senior Facilities Manager
Job Overview:
The FM Supervisor oversees a team of FM Executives and technicians, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of all facilities services. This role is responsible for the hands-on management of maintenance operations, vendor relationships, and compliance, ensuring that the facility meets the organization's operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and assign tasks to the facilities team, including FM Executives and maintenance staff.
• Work Order Management: Prioritize and manage the workflow of preventive and corrective maintenance work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Contract & Vendor Oversight: Manage service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors. Negotiate contracts, review performance, and ensure value for money.
• Operational Management: Oversee the daily operation of critical building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire safety, security, BMS).
• Budget & Cost Control: Assist in the development of the facilities budget. Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Health & Safety: Act as a key point of contact for health and safety matters. Conduct risk assessments and ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Project Management: Lead small-to-medium facilities projects, such as office renovations, relocations, or system upgrades.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems and infrastructure.
• Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations (OSHA, NFPA, etc.).
