Joining our team, we are looking for Flight Operations Performance Engineer Your Role The Performance Engineer will report to the Head of Flight Operations Support, will provide technical expertise, vital information and support in all Aircraft Performance Engineering aspects to achieve safe, cost-effective and efficient operations of Beond aircraft. You will:
- Conduct Takeoff and Landing analysis and optimize performance limited weights at every airport in Beond\xe2\x80\x99s network.
Conduct daily watch and assessment of NOTAMS.
Evaluate, assess, and validate aircraft performance data of new and existing aircraft types and issue technical operational data and ensure flight crews use up-to-date data for Takeoff, Enroute and Landing.
Validate obstacles and design engine-out procedures to enhance flight safety.
Manage airport database updates regularly and administer performance loads in all Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) platforms.
Ensure regulatory compliance related to aircraft performance, interpret & reflect manufacturer\xe2\x80\x99s data, and regulatory material in company documentation.
Produce payload/range analyses for potential new routes.
Evaluate potential new airports and support company airport categorisation process.
Conduct initial & recurrent Performance training to Flight Dispatchers and relevant ground staff.
Provide support to Flight Operations and other relevant departments on aircraft performance-related operational data.
Other relevant duties as directed by the FOS Management
- A degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of Operational experience in a commercial airline environment.
- Thorough knowledge of Aircraft Operational Documents (FCOM, QRH, MEL, FM, WBM, CCOM, etc.
- Thorough knowledge in interpretation of manufacturer operational publications.
- Experience in applying analytical skills.
- Strong background and skills in computer literacy, XML documentation and aircraft systems are essential for the role.
