IMEP is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable

Fitout Engineer

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of fit-out projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Interpret and implement architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication. Conduct site inspections, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to maintain project progress. Manage and supervise on-site teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices. Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure all fit-out works comply with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards in the UAE. Source and evaluate materials, negotiate with suppliers, and manage procurement processes efficiently. Implement quality control procedures to ensure high-quality finishes and installations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in fit-out works within the UAE.

Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of various fit-out trades, materials, and construction techniques.

Proven experience working with a reputable fit-out company in the UAE is essential.

Strong understanding of project management principles, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and project management software. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines. Valid UAE driving license preferred.
