Job Description

A fit-out and joinery estimator is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out and joinery projects, including villas, custom furniture, and other related items. This involves analyzing project specifications, drawings, and tender documents, sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, and collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate and cost-effective bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation:

Preparing detailed cost estimates for joinery and interior fit-out projects.

Analyzing project specifications, drawings, and tender documents.

Conducting material take-offs and quantity calculations.

Evaluating market prices and selecting cost-effective materials and suppliers.

Preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and cost breakdowns.

Tender Management:

Managing tender processes, including preparing bid documents and coordinating contract documentation.

Submitting bids and quotations for joinery projects.

Monitoring ongoing projects to track costs and update estimates.

Collaboration:

Collaborating with project managers, designers, procurement teams, and subcontractors.

Ensuring alignment between estimation, design intent, and execution.

Cost Control:

Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the project lifecycle.

Assisting with value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Maintaining and updating cost databases and estimation records.

Other Responsibilities:

Conducting site visits and meetings to understand project scope.

Maintaining strong supplier and subcontractor relationships.

Staying updated on market trends and material costs.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
