As Financial Planning and Analysis Director, you will be managing the Financial Planning and Analysis function across operating Miral Experiences facilities (\xe2\x80\x9cParks\xe2\x80\x9d). This includes review of all month end reports, provision of narratives and reports to explain Parks performance, preparation of regular forecasts for Senior Management and owners, managing the budget preparation for Parks, providing analysis and reports on all aspects of Parks performance for existing and new proposed projects.

In this role, you will be responsible to:

• Provide Senior Management (CEO, VPs and GMs) appropriate financial inputs to ensure targets and objectives are met.
• Lead the implementation of budgeting software across the group, suggest improvements and ways to streamline the overall approach and support the business in using the application.
• Manage the preparation of annual Parks budgets (revenues, costs and capex) in line with the deadlines provided by the owners, including preparation of various presentations to Senior Management and drafting of Board Memos for approval.
• Ensure any budget reallocations are made in line with the Company\'s approved Delegation of Authority and proper tracker of all reallocations made during the year is maintained.
• Review all monthly P&L reports and monthly financial performance reports for each park and present to Senior Management in 3rd week of each month explaining performance vs budget and prior year.
• Review monthly financial forecasts for each entity, analyze and provide justifications for variances vs budget and previous forecast.
• Review all balance sheet schedules of the Parks with Finance Business Partners to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare presentations for Board Meetings of MX group and owners.
• Review Annual Financial Statements to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting across the group.
• Present Senior Management on a monthly basis, full update on each capex project (either budgeted during the year or carried forward from prior years) across the whole group by summarizing amount consumed during the month, commitments made and highlighting any bottlenecks to expedite procurement.
• Be the central point of contact for all insurance requirements across the group between Insurance Brokers and MX and ensure valid insurance policies are maintained at all times with adequate sums insured.
• Review feasibility studies of new capex projects of above 1m AED
• Assist in drafting and updating Finance Policies and Procedures
• Work with (and provide support to) the shared service team to improve the month end close process.
• Train, mentor and develop finance staff (including conducting appraisals for direct reports) and implement succession plans for the team.
• Work across the business to develop and improve systems, processes and reports.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

• Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, CMA, ACCA).
• Minimum of 5 years senior managerial experience in a large/ multi-site operation
• Experience in budget implementation process
• Be able to work with multinational environment.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft office applications.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Ability to present and explain data clearly to non-finance users.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• A multi-tasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment.
