Job Description
Our Client is seeking an experienced Finance Controller to join their business. The main responsibilities and qualifications for the ideal candidate is as listed below:
Budgeting, Accounting and Reporting:
Budgeting, Accounting and Reporting:
- Preparing and analysing budgets.
- Tracking, reporting, and analysing budget variances.
- Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cashflow statements.
- Managing statutory audits and being focal point for interaction with auditors and issuance of audited financial statements on time.
- Day-to-day banking/treasury operations and banking correspondence.
- Preparing regular cashflow forecasts.
- Preparing banking proposals.
- Banking documentation and correspondence.
- Exposure to interest and currency hedging structures.
- Forecasting financial performance.
- Investment analysis.
- Experience in ERP implementation in accounts and finance function.
- Ensuring internal controls and recommending changes in policies or procedures.
- Ability to lead and mentor accounting and finance team.
- Chartered accountant with around 12-15 years of experience.
- Background in Big 4 + large real estate companies in the GCC.
- Background in hospitality will be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and MS excel skills.
