Key Responsibilities 1. Prepare regular financial reports for the Executive Vice President, the governing body, and, if requested by the MoE or the CAA. 2. Collect fees from students of different levels based on agreed admission conditions and confirm refund policy in case of withdrawal. .3. Keep records of any grant received, or audit evidence. 4. Book respective income from any investment made. 5. Cash balance periodically and assess whether the management budget is in line with the actuals and maintain all the bank statements in the College. 6. Adjust the advance paid for the expenses correctly when the expense is incurred. 7. Collect vouching of receipts from the students and adjust correctly the advance received and deposit all cheques collected from external and internal clients. 8. Provide info. about the student\xe2\x80\x99s outstanding payments to the Student Affairs dept. 9. Receive & Verify the monthly salary list from the Human Resource department. 10. Verify the assets purchased and confirm whether they had been properly capitalized and also check that the depreciation is charged correctly. 11. Manage and maintain supplier accounts in the BAC system and send a payment request to the Chairman\xe2\x80\x99s office for approval, and process payments thereafter. 12. Collect payable invoices from the suppliers and process payments after verifying the same and prepare journal entries for the general ledger. 13. Perform reconciliation of Bank, Supplier, and Student accounts. 14. Administer and process all Petty Cash transactions Be responsible for the financial planning, monitoring, reporting, and development of policies, systems, and processes across the organization. 15. Do reporting and accounting to meet legal requirements including taxation, annual reports and accounts, and liaise with the auditor and manage the audit process. 16. Coordinate with the Institutional Effectiveness Office and schedule Internal Audit. 17. Get a Conformance Report from the Internal Auditor Expected Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s / Master\'s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field
  • English language proficiency is required
  • Minimum of five years of experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Working Days / Hours
