Job Description

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a welcoming bar experience. She must maintain cleanliness, follow recipes and standards, and deliver high-quality service in line with the restaurant's hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests at the bar with a friendly and professional attitude. Prepare and serve beverages (cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, soft drinks, etc.) according to recipes and standards. Take beverage orders directly from guests or servers and ensure timely service. Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and stock levels at all times. Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of beverages and garnishes. Check guests' identification to verify legal drinking age when necessary. Handle guest requests and complaints politely and professionally, escalating to the supervisor if required. Upsell beverages and recommend drink pairings to enhance guest experience. Operate POS system, process payments (cash, card, etc.), and issue receipts accurately. Comply with all health, hygiene, and safety regulations. Assist in monthly inventory and restocking supplies as needed. Work closely with servers and other team members to ensure smooth service operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant, lounge, or hospitality environment preferred. Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, wines, and beverages. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused with a positive and outgoing personality. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Professional appearance and grooming standards. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required. Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling. Bartender certification or mixology training is an advantage.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods.
