Al Habtoor City Hotel is currently looking for

BARTENDER.

A Bartender, who can create a welcoming atmosphere, provide excellent customer service, and efficiently manage the bar's operations.

As a Bartender you will be responsible for engaging our guests during their visit, receiving/serving orders and ensuring brand service standards are met to the highest quality.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Mixing Drinks:

prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers. This involves knowing a wide range of drink recipes and being able to mix drinks quickly and accurately.

Customer Service:

interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations. They must be friendly, personable, and attentive to customer needs.

Cash Handling:

process payments, handle cash, and manage tabs. They need to be accurate and honest in handling money.

Maintaining Cleanliness:

responsible for keeping the bar area clean and organized, including washing glasses and utensils.

Checking Identification:

must verify the age of customers to ensure they are of legal drinking age.

Stocking Supplies:

restocking the bar with ingredients and supplies as needed, such as liquor, mixers, ice, and garnishes.

Knowledge of Alcohol Laws:

Should be familiar with local alcohol laws and regulations, including when to refuse service to customers.

Handling Difficult Situations:

able to handle difficult or intoxicated customers with tact and professionalism.

What are we looking for:

Proven working experience as a bartender. Female bartender is an added advantage. Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks

The ability to create classic cocktails Flexibility in hours as you will be working rostered shifts, especially on weekends Exceptional personal presentation and communication skills Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
