Job Description

The role of F&B Cost Controller is with our restaurant business- MAXZI. We have recorded unprecedented growth in the past few years and offer unlimited opportunities for professional growth. The role is of strategic importance to the core functioning of MAXZI.

Job Responsibilities:



The cost controller will be responsible for implementing and managing cost control systems, identifying, analyzing and reporting variances and preparing cost reports.

Analyze menu offerings and refine recipes to optimize food costs without compromising quality. Control the F&B outlets in terms of wastage, pilferage and efficiency Check the food cost and ensure they are within the budgets Maintain accurate inventory control to prevent overstocking and reduce wastage. Generate timely and effective reports for review by management Participate in stock taking and perform spot checks to ensure inventory accuracy in restaurants Implement and maintain robust inventory management system Source, negotiate with vendors and maintain contracts and costs Control spend and build healthy practices of saving on procurement costs

Required Skills & Experience:



Bachelors in Hospitality Management / Business/ Finance Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Basic understanding of the kitchen operations would be highly desirable At least 3 years of Cost Controller experience in F&B industry in UAE Should have attention to detail Proficiency in financial analysis and planning

License/Certification:

Driving License (Required)
