The F&B Cost Controller is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling food and beverage costs to ensure profitability and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Control and monitor food and beverage inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Analyze daily food and beverage costs and prepare variance reports.
Review purchase orders, supplier invoices, and receiving records.
Monitor waste, pilferage, and portion control to minimize losses.
Assist in menu costing, recipe standardization, and pricing strategies.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Stores, and Finance to ensure cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
Provide management with timely cost analysis, reports, and recommendations.
Support month-end closing and audit requirements related to F&B operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in F&B cost control or hospitality finance.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Excel and restaurant/hotel software (e.g., FMC, Micros, POS systems).
Knowledge of inventory management, cost accounting, and procurement procedures.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
