Responsibilities
Budget Management
: Develop, monitor, and manage budgets for various projects and departments.
Cost Analysis
: Analyze financial data to track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations.
Inventory Control
: Oversee inventory management, including tracking stock levels, ordering, and minimizing wastage.
Expense Tracking
: Monitor and report on all expenses, ensuring they align with the approved budgets.
Variance Analysis
: Analyze budget variances and deviations to identify the root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Financial Reporting
: Prepare financial reports, cost forecasts, and cost performance reports for management.
Procurement Control
: Evaluate and optimize procurement processes to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
Contract Review
: Review supplier and vendor contracts to ensure favorable terms and cost-efficiency.
Cost Reduction Strategies
: Develop and implement strategies to reduce operational costs while maintaining quality standards.
Compliance
: Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations.
Forecasting
: Assist in financial forecasting to predict future expenses and plan accordingly.
Data Management
: Maintain cost-related data and records accurately and securely.
Collaboration
: Collaborate with other departments to align cost control efforts with overall business goals.
Audit Support
: Assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation and information as needed.
Training
: Train and educate employees on cost control policies and best practices.
Savings Initiatives
: Identify opportunities for cost savings and present proposals to management for approval.
Technology Utilization
: Utilize cost control software and tools to streamline financial processes.
Risk Management
: Identify and address financial risks that could impact the budget.
Communication
: Communicate cost-related information effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
1+ years experience in food service industry
At least 1 year work experience as
Restaurant Cost Controller
in U.A.E.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED10,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
