Job Description
We are looking for a Facilities Manager who is focused on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing). The desired candidate will be responsible for the overall management of a facility that includes apartments, Villas, and Buildings with a particular emphasis on MEP systems. The main objective of this role is to supervise the Team and maintain work standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures that focus on MEP systems and retail management.
- Oversee and coordinate maintenance and repair activities for MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
- Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, custodial staff, and security personnel, with a focus on ensuring that the retail spaces are clean and well-maintained.
- Manage the facility\'s budget, including operating expenses, capital expenditures, and project expenses, with a particular focus on managing costs associated with MEP systems and retail management.
- Ensure that the facility complies with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety, environmental, and building codes, with a particular focus on those that are relevant to retail spaces.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental laws
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior executives, employees, vendors, and contractors
- Experience with project management, budget management, and cost control
- Knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- 2+ years of experience in facilities management or related field
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Facility Management/Supervisor: 2 years (Preferred)
