We are looking for a professional, service-oriented
Facility Assistant
to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of our facility, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and efficient environment for all staff and visitors.
This role requires someone with
experience in hospitality or customer service
and
excellent communication skills
, as you will frequently interact with internal teams, contractors, and guests.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a key point of contact for staff, visitors, and vendors, providing professional and courteous assistance.
Support day-to-day facility operations, including general upkeep, meeting room setups, and maintenance coordination.
Assist with office moves, furniture arrangements, and logistics for meetings or company events.
Monitor and restock facility supplies (e.g., cleaning materials, pantry stock, safety equipment).
Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Liaise with external vendors and contractors for repairs, maintenance, and service deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, reports, and safety documentation.
Support administrative and operational tasks related to facility management as assigned.
Requirements
Mandatory:
Proven experience in
hospitality, front-of-house, or customer service roles
.
Mandatory:
Strong
verbal and written communication skills
with a professional and approachable demeanor.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in facilities management or a related field is an asset.
Prior experience in a facilities, maintenance, or operations support environment preferred.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, reporting tools).
Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting or moving light furniture and equipment.
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
