Roles and Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Electrician cum Plumber is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical and plumbing systems in office and accommodation premises. This role ensures that all facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

:

Electrical Duties

: o Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in offices and accommodation areas. o Troubleshoot electrical issues such as power outages, faulty wiring, and short circuits. o Maintain electrical equipment, including panels, circuit breakers, and lighting systems. o Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.

Plumbing Duties

: o Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sewage systems. o Fix leaks, unclog pipes, repair faucets, toilets, showers, and water heaters. o Inspect plumbing systems and recommend preventive maintenance solutions. o Ensure adherence to sanitation and safety standards.

General Maintenance

: o Assist with minor carpentry, mechanical repairs, and general technical maintenance as required. o Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs. o Maintain records of maintenance work, repairs, and equipment servicing. o Support emergency repairs during breakdowns or urgent maintenance situations.

Health, Safety & Compliance

: o Follow all safety protocols while performing electrical and plumbing work. o Ensure all work complies with local regulations and company policies. o Report major issues promptly to the Admin Executive.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Skills

: Minimum Qualifications / Education Experience / Knowledge: o High school diploma or vocational course in electrical or plumbing. o Minimum 2 years' relevant experience. o Basic knowledge of carpentry or mechanical maintenance is an advantage. o Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring/plumbing diagrams. o Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. o Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Working Conditions:

o Physical work including climbing, lifting, and prolonged standing. o Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments, including long hours, weekends, and holidays. o Workshop-based with regular travel to on-site locations, office or accommodation premises as required. o Physically demanding role requiring hands-on work with tools and materials

Reporting & Accountability

: o Reports to: Admin Executive / Facility Assistant Manager. o Responsible for timely and efficient completion of electrical and plumbing maintenance tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,400.00 per month
