In line with our growth ambitions in Egypt, we are seeking a dynamic and driven professional to join our team in Cairo as a Fabric Technologist. If you're passionate about innovation and eager to contribute to the future of global supply chains, we'd love to hear from you.
sWork with Clients and Mill / Manufacture on Fabric Development and Technical work This including Knitting & finishing . Review samples to ensure that they meet product specifications & testing requirements. Provide technical advice and support to factories, customers, merchandising team and technical team Receive and clarification of technical/product design input with designers Translate design brief into technical product specification Provide technical briefing and direction to the supplier Assist in nomination of raw materials when applicable Assit in Fabric sourcing where possible and Mills evaluation. Manage Fabric development , Specifications , Approval and documentation of Fabric Testing . Ensure meets customer quality requirement . Provide technical input and assistance to the operational product development team and supplier when necessary Provide a technical handover explanation to the other operational teams (i.e. Order follow up and quality assurance) Value and product engineering to support cost competitiveness Perform other duties as assigned by management

RequirementsDiploma or degree in textile engineering Minimum 5 years' relevant experience Strong product and material knowledge with good development skills Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded Ability to build strong relationships with the team, communicate effectively with internal and external parties Strong problem solving skills Able to manage multiple tasks environment Excellent command of written and spoken English Literate in Microsoft office programs
