Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end documentation for export and import shipments (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.).
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and transport companies for timely shipments.
Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and customs records.
Negotiate freight rates with service providers to optimize costs.
Liaise with suppliers, buyers, and internal teams to meet delivery schedules.
Monitor shipment tracking and resolve any shipping or customs clearance issues.
Manage letters of credit (LCs), payment terms, and banking documentation for international trade.
Ensure accurate reporting of export/import activities to management.
Stay updated with changes in international trade policies, Incoterms, and HS codes.
Coordinate insurance for shipments and handle claims in case of damages or losses.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in export/import operations or logistics.
Knowledge of customs procedures, documentation, and international shipping regulations.
Familiarity with Incoterms, HS codes, and trade finance instruments (LC, TT, etc.).
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
