Senior Accountant

who has a deep understanding of the hospitality or short-term rental industry and is proficient in

QuickBooks

and preferably

Hostaway

.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting operations including AR, AP, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking Handle monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings Prepare and analyze profit & loss statements for each property/unit Track owner payments, commissions, and utility charges accurately Coordinate with operations, reservations, and housekeeping departments for revenue/cost allocation Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and management for reporting and compliance Maintain and optimize the use of QuickBooks Online for multi-property accounting Generate periodic management reports for unit performance, occupancy-based revenue, and cash flows Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to improve financial processes

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years accounting experience

, with at least

2 years in a hotel or short-term rental company

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must

- daily usage and optimization required

Experience with Hostaway is highly preferred

Strong understanding of hospitality revenue flows (e.g. OTA payouts, guest deposits, owner splits) Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and FTA compliance Ability to work independently and own the full accounting function Excellent Excel skills for reconciliations, reporting, and financial modeling Strong communication skills and fluency in English
