Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  • Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
  • Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
  • Supervise kitchen staff\xe2\x80\x99s activities
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
  • Recruit and manage kitchen staff
  • Rectify arising problems or complaints
  • Give prepared plates the \xe2\x80\x9cfinal touch\xe2\x80\x9d
  • Perform administrative duties
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Keep time and payroll records
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements
  • Proven working experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef with at least 10 years of experience.
  • Excellent record managing multiple kitchens with a background in healthy food concept.
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Capable of delegating tasks to the team based on observation of their skill set.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Keep up with cooking trends and best practices.
  • BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
Job Type: Full-time Salary: From KD700.000 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Kuwait City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
