responsible for the kitchen team\'s delivery of high quality, brilliant food that leads to exceptional customer experiences
Maintains expert knowledge of our menus and shares this knowledge with the team
Ensures that a wide range of carefully designed dishes are prepared, presented, and delivered with pride and precision as per the specifications
Ensures that each team member follows our standardized processes designed to provide a high-quality dining experience
Be aware of current trends in the culinary region
Works with the other chefs to ensure new menus are developed and implemented successfully
Exceptional guest experiences
Delivers exceptional customer experiences through ensuring that your team prioritizes spec-perfect dishes every time
Works with the front of house team to ensure that any delays or errors are corrected immediately
Reviews customer feedback on food quality and looks for ways to improve
Ensures that food allergies are treated with absolute seriousness and that all chefs are trained on correct food handling
Where appropriate, engage with guests adding to their overall experience
People and culture

Works with the hotel leadership team to develop a workplace culture that recognizes and rewards excellent work

Partners with the support functions to ensure compliance with all people practices and procedures
Active participation in planning, Hiring, and training of Kitchen staff
Attendance in Interview sessions
Monthly Appraisal before confirming the employee, Before probation completion appraisal, and yearly Appraisal for employees
Delivery of results
ensures that the team are brilliant at the basics; food quality, food hygiene, and health and safety
Each dish is delivered to the correct specification every time, ensuring an exceptional guest experience
Cost controls are in place, and targets are met
Weekly reporting and Monthly reporting on Menu Changes, Incidents, SOPS, and Quality KPI\'s
Compliance with all food safety requirements and audits are passed
Labour targets are met while investigating where savings can be made that don\'t hinder the customer experience
ERP& System integration and entry requirements.
Supplier & Product Knowledge and update on the changes in the industry
Testing and approval of the products and materials.
Wastage is tracked, monitored, and minimized
Sustainability targets are met
Maintains a stable and well-trained team
Coordinates with the purchasing department to acquire needed goods and services.

Preferred Experience/ Qualifications:
Experience as an Executive Head Chef with multiple outlet operation
Experience in quality, high street restaurants in a senior culinary role for a minimum of two years is essential for this role
Evidence of ability to lead change with new technologies and ways of working
Qualification in food safety and a track record in managing all aspects of food safety

Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergencies, distinguish product taste, texture, and quality, and evaluate presentation and preparation.
Artistic ability to create theme menus for clients.
