The Events/Floor Manager oversees the daily floor operations and ensures seamless coordination of all events and guest experiences. This role is responsible for maintaining high service standards, managing staff performance, and ensuring every event runs smoothly from setup to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily floor operations during regular service and special events.
Plan, organize, and execute events in collaboration with the management and culinary teams.
Ensure all guests receive excellent service and that issues are resolved promptly.
Lead pre-event briefings and allocate staff duties effectively.
Monitor setup, service, and breakdown of events to ensure operational efficiency.
Maintain clear communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance on the floor.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Handle VIP guests, large bookings, and special requests professionally.
Prepare post-event reports and feedback to management for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Floor Manager, Events Manager, or similar role in hospitality or F&B.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
Flexible with work schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of POS systems and event management tools is an advantage.
