Event & Exhibition Sales Business Development Executive

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive with experience in the events and exhibitions industry. The ideal candidate should be confident throughout all stages of the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure and excel in building and maintaining strong client relationships. A proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure are essential.

Key Responsibilities:



Market Research & Strategy



Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitor activities. Use insights to develop and implement targeted strategies for business growth.

Lead Generation & Pipeline Development



Generate qualified leads through networking, cold calling, attending events, and leveraging online platforms. Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent deal flow.

Client Relationship Management



Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients. Understand client needs, event objectives, and budgets to offer tailored exhibition and event solutions. Ensure regular client communication to foster repeat business and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.

Proposal Development & Presentation



Prepare customized proposals and impactful presentations that align with client goals and budget constraints. Collaborate with internal teams (design, estimation, project management) to create innovative and feasible solutions.

Negotiation & Deal Closure



Lead client negotiations to secure profitable contracts. Coordinate with project teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

Reporting & Forecasting



Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline status. Provide regular reports to senior management, including sales forecasts and performance metrics.

Industry Engagement



Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions. Stay updated on market conditions, trends, and best practices in the events and exhibitions industry.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 2-3 years of proven experience in event and exhibition sales within the UAE. Demonstrated success in lead generation, client acquisition, and closing deals. Fluency in English and Hindi; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus. Valid UAE driving license is required.
