We are seeking a skilled

Estimator cum Quantity Surveyor (QS)

with strong experience in

joinery and custom furniture manufacturing

. The role is responsible for preparing cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and tender documents for joinery projects while ensuring accuracy, cost efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from joinery drawings, specifications, and design layouts. Develop accurate cost estimates for joinery, carpentry, and furniture works at tender and execution stages. Review project drawings and identify materials, finishes, and manufacturing requirements. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for materials, hardware, and finishes. Prepare tender submissions, pricing summaries, and value engineering proposals. Liaise with production, design, and procurement teams to ensure cost accuracy and project feasibility. Monitor project budgets, variations, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in preparing interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts. Maintain updated price databases for materials, labour, and subcontractor costs. Ensure all estimating and QS activities comply with company policies and quality procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. 3-6 years of experience in joinery or interior fit-out estimation and quantity surveying (UAE/GCC experience preferred). Strong knowledge of joinery materials, finishes, hardware, and manufacturing processes. Proficient in

AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation/QS software (e.g., CostX, Planswift, or similar).

Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
