Job Description

:

1. Analyze architectural plans, specifications, and project documents to understand the scope of work and requirements.

2. Prepare detailed cost estimates by accurately quantifying materials, labor, and equipment necessary for each project.

3. Collaborate with Procurement Department to collect pricing information for materials and services.

4. Evaluate bids and proposals from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.

5. Prepare comprehensive and accurate proposals, including pricing breakdowns, project schedules, and any additional documentation required.

6. Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for estimating purposes if required.

7. dentify and analyze potential risks and opportunities during the estimation process.

8. Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.

9. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that cost estimates align with project objectives and budgets.

10. Stay updated with industry trends, market rates, and material costs to provide accurate estimates.

11. Coordinate and obtain the HOD's approval prior to submitting any work.

Qualifications

1. Estimator in Joinery and Fit Out Wood Company

2. 5 years experience with joinery and fit out

3. Ability to read drawings and specifications

Salary

AED 8,000 - AED 12,000 per month

Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
