Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Estimator

with expertise in aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel works. The ideal candidate will also have experience in

drafting (AutoCAD)

and a basic understanding of

accounting principles

, enabling seamless coordination across technical and commercial functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel fabrication works Interpret drawings, specifications, and BOQs to generate material take-offs and pricing Create detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD or similar software Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for updated pricing and lead times Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to finalize proposals Prepare invoices, track job costing, and assist with basic project accounting Maintain documentation for project quotations, revisions, and correspondence

Requirements:

Proven experience in estimation for aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel fabrication Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting tools Knowledge of fabrication techniques and construction materials Familiarity with accounting basics (cost tracking, invoicing, etc.) Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field Experience in UAE/GCC fabrication industry is a plus Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Excel

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
