Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for

Carry out quantity take-offs for materials, fittings, hardware, and finishes.
Analyze project risks, constraints, and opportunities to optimize pricing strategies.
Develop and maintain a database of unit rates, supplier pricing, and labor costs.
Ensure all estimates comply with technical and commercial requirements.
2. Supplier and Subcontractor Liaison
Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for materials, fittings, and specialist trades.
Evaluate quotations based on price, quality, and lead times.
Negotiate favorable terms and build strong working relationships with vendors.
3. Cost Management and Reporting
Prepare cost summaries, bills of quantities (BOQs), and cost comparisons.
Support the project team with cost planning and value engineering suggestions.
Assist in budget preparation and post-tender reviews.
Track actual project costs versus estimates for continuous improvement.
4. Coordination and Communication
Work closely with project managers, designers, and procurement teams to clarify scope and ensure accurate costing.
Attend tender meetings, site visits, and client presentations as required.
Provide technical input and advice to ensure practical and cost-effective solutions.
