We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and experienced
Estimator
with a strong background in interior fit-out projects. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, compiling competitive tenders, and working closely with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure timely and profitable project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Review design drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare precise quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and procurement teams to prepare competitive and compliant bids.
Source and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations to ensure cost-effective pricing.
Prepare detailed BOQs, cost summaries, and commercial submissions.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering without compromising on quality.
Analyze tender risks, assumptions, and clarifications.
Keep updated with UAE market rates, material prices, and fit-out construction trends.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.
Minimum 4-6 years' experience in estimation for interior fit-out projects in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of joinery, gypsum works, MEP coordination, flooring, finishes, and custom furniture.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
Proven experience in preparing bids for commercial, hospitality, retail, or office fit-out projects.
