Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Estimator

to join our team in the UAE, specializing in

interior fit-out and architectural solutions

. The ideal candidate will be experienced in preparing competitive and accurate cost estimates for commercial, retail, and hospitality fit-out projects, with a strong grasp of materials, finishes, and local market rates.

Key Responsibilities

Estimation & Tendering

Analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Prepare accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out, joinery, ceilings, partitions, glass, aluminum, and architectural finishes. Submit quotations and commercial proposals within defined deadlines.

Costing & Budgeting

Conduct detailed quantity take-offs using AutoCAD and drawings. Coordinate with procurement for updated material, subcontractor, and vendor pricing. Support cost planning, budgeting, and value engineering processes.

Internal Coordination

Liaise with the sales, design, and project teams to ensure all client and project requirements are captured in estimates. Participate in technical and pre-bid meetings as required.

Market Research

Keep up to date with market material rates and labor costs in the UAE. Benchmark pricing strategies against competitors for commercial viability.

Documentation

Maintain accurate records of estimates, supplier quotes, and cost sheets. Prepare commercial comparison sheets and assist in tender clarifications.

Post-Tender Support

Assist in negotiations and finalization of commercial terms. Support project handover to the execution team with all cost-related documentation.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.

Experience

4-6 years of estimation experience in the UAE fit-out, joinery, or architectural finishes industry.

Technical Knowledge

Strong understanding of fit-out materials, systems, and construction methods. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs. Knowledge of UAE market rates and suppliers.

Software Skills

Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools such as PlanSwift, Candy, or equivalent.

Other Skills

Excellent numerical accuracy, communication, and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

License

UAE driving license is preferred.
