Advanced Excel skills
are a must, along with strong knowledge of fit-out works, market rates, and vendor sourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documentation for interior fit-out projects
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and client requirements
Collect and compare vendor/supplier quotations for material and subcontractor costs
Utilize
advanced Excel functions
(VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, conditional formatting, etc.) to streamline cost estimation and reporting
Coordinate with project managers, designers, and procurement teams
Maintain and update cost databases for materials and labor
Review and validate technical drawings to ensure accurate scope coverage
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering options
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
Minimum
3-5 years
of relevant experience in
fit-out or interior contracting
Strong command of
Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level)
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications
Good understanding of local market pricing and sourcing
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities
