Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator with 2-3 years of proven experience in the joinery, furniture, and fit-out industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, coordinating with suppliers/subcontractors, and supporting the commercial team in pricing competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze architectural drawings, BOQs, and project specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates. Prepare quotations for joinery, furniture, and fit-out works. Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather pricing information. Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labor, machinery, and overheads. Support in tender submissions and ensure timely delivery of estimates. Evaluate and compare vendor quotations and negotiate better rates when necessary. Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize costs. Update and maintain pricing databases for future reference.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Quantity Surveying or related field. 2-3 years of UAE/GCC experience in estimating joinery, custom furniture, and interior fit-out projects is

mandatory

. Strong knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and industry standards. Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam). Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
