Job Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced

Furniture Fit-out & Joinery Estimator

to join our team. This role focuses on cost estimation for high-end interior fit-out and joinery projects, primarily emphasising

loose furniture

and bespoke woodworking. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in quantity surveying, an excellent grasp of wood materials, and a deep understanding of project execution processes in the fit-out industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates

and comprehensive

Bills of Quantities (BOQs)

for high-end interior fit-out and joinery projects, including villas and custom furniture installations. Analyze

project specifications, drawings, and tender documents

to identify material and labor requirements. Evaluate

market prices

, production processes, and select the most cost-effective materials and suppliers. Conduct

value engineering

by identifying cost-saving opportunities and proposing alternatives.

Manage tender processes

, including pricing, preparing bid documents, and coordinating contract documentation.

Collaborate closely

with the production, sales, and design teams to ensure alignment between estimation, design intent, and execution capacity. Maintain and update a

supplier and subcontractor database

, including identifying and pre-qualifying new vendors.

Monitor and control project costs

throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment with the initial estimate and budget. Act as a

liaison between clients, design teams, and subcontractors

to ensure accurate interpretation of project requirements and seamless communication. Ensure

timely submission of bids

, while regularly reviewing the bid calendar in coordination with the sales team. Identify

non-indicated scope items

by analyzing site conditions, architectural plans, and specifications.

Qualifications & Skills:

Degree in

Quantity Surveying

,

Engineering

, or a related field. Minimum

3-5 years of experience

in joinery estimation or interior fit-out estimation. Strong knowledge of

woodworking, furniture production

, and

joinery materials

. Proven ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings. Proficiency in

MS Office

. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualities:

Experience with

luxury or high-end interior projects

. Familiarity with

international standards and specifications

in joinery and fit-out. Knowledge of

local and international market trends

in wood and furniture materials.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
