we are looking for a experienced cost estimator for interior fit-out projects. 1. Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
2. Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
3. Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
4. Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
5. Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
6. Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
7. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
8. Estimating and cost planning for pre-tender stage.
9. Assisting with the production feasibility studies and estimates from minimal design information, through to detailed cost plans.
10. Interfacing with the client and consultant.
11. Tender Evaluation and negotiation with contractors/vendors.
12. All major strategic procurement from identification of approved materials, verifying quantities as per the plan v/s actual.
13. Working closely with suppliers and clients to improve operation and reduce probable costs while project executions.
14. Coordination with projects manager and site engineer.
15. Coordinating with procurement advising on supply constraints, forecast information or products, recommendation on alternative products, push through scheduling of orders, reports on order status etc.
16. Monitors and prepares cost variations.
17. Verifies & certifies suppliers and vendor's invoices and quotes
Requirements:
a. Fit-Out Experience, Preferably with Architecture/ Interior Experience
b. Excellent knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, Archibald and 3Ds max
c. Experience in material management
d. Experience in managing and sourcing interior fit out suppliers
e. Good Knowledge of the Fit Out Suppliers & Sub Contractors in local market & overseas.
f. Multi-tasking and ability to work with more than one project.
g. Effective communication skills and technically sound. Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED2,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
