. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing
accurate and competitive cost estimates
for interior fit-out projects, ensuring profitability and alignment with company objectives and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare detailed and precise cost estimates.
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and negotiate competitive pricing.
Prepare and submit
tender documents
in collaboration with the sales, design, and project teams.
Maintain and update a comprehensive
database of material, labor, and subcontracting costs
.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and the procurement team for
cost control and progress updates
.
Conduct
site visits
to assess and verify project scope when required.
Track design and scope changes, updating estimates and budgets accordingly.
Support the
commercial and sales teams
during client meetings and technical clarifications.
Provide
post-tender analysis and cost breakdowns
for management review and decision-making.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
5-8 years of UAE experience
in estimating within the
Interior Fit-Out or Joinery
industry.
Strong knowledge of
local suppliers, material pricing, and subcontracting practices
.
Proficient in
MS Excel, AutoCAD
, and estimation software such as
PlanSwift, CCS, or equivalent
.
Excellent
analytical, numerical, and problem-solving
abilities.
Strong
negotiation, communication, and organizational
skills.
Ability to work
independently under pressure
and meet tight deadlines.
