We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our fit-out contracting team in Al Quoz. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing in line with market conditions and company targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare detailed and accurate estimates.
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and negotiate competitive pricing.
Prepare and submit tender documentation in coordination with the sales and design teams.
Maintain an up-to-date database of material and labor costs.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and procurement team for cost control and updates.
Conduct site visits to assess and verify project scope when necessary.
Track changes to designs and adjust budget estimates accordingly.
Support the commercial and sales teams during client meetings and clarifications.
Provide post-tender analysis and cost breakdowns for management review.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
5-8 years of UAE experience in estimating for interior fit-out or joinery projects.
Strong knowledge of local material suppliers, market rates, and subcontracting.
Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, CCS, or similar).
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently under pressure and tight deadlines.
