This role requires strong technical expertise, commercial awareness, and the ability to collaborate across design, procurement, and project teams to ensure profitable and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Review
drawings, specifications, and tender documents
to prepare accurate
quantity take-offs
and cost estimates.
Work closely with
design, procurement, and project teams
to prepare competitive and compliant bids.
Source and evaluate quotations
from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Prepare comprehensive
BOQs, cost breakdowns, and commercial submissions
for tenders and proposals.
Identify opportunities for
value engineering
to optimize cost and maintain quality standards.
Assess and document
tender risks, assumptions, and clarifications
to ensure transparent bid submissions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of
UAE market prices, material trends, and fit-out industry standards
.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in
Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related discipline
.
4-6 years
of proven experience as an
Estimator
in
interior fit-out projects
within the UAE.
Strong technical understanding of
joinery, gypsum works, MEP coordination, flooring, finishes, and bespoke furniture
.
Proficiency in
MS Excel, AutoCAD
, and estimation tools/software.
Excellent
numerical, analytical, and organizational
skills with strong attention to detail.
Effective
communication and coordination
abilities; fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
Demonstrated experience preparing bids for
commercial, hospitality, retail, and corporate fit-out projects
.
