Key Responsibilities:
Prepare
BOQs
,
cost estimates
, and
tender documentation
for interior fit-out projects.
Analyze
drawings, specifications, and client requirements
to determine project scope and cost implications.
Collect, review, and compare
vendor and subcontractor quotations
for accuracy and competitiveness.
Utilize
advanced Excel functions
(VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, Conditional Formatting, etc.) to optimize estimation workflows and reporting.
Collaborate with
project managers, designers, and procurement teams
to ensure accurate project costing and alignment with budgets.
Maintain and regularly update
cost databases
for materials, labor, and subcontractors.
Review
technical drawings
to ensure all elements are covered within the cost estimate.
Identify
cost-saving opportunities
and propose
value engineering solutions
.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
3-5 years of relevant experience
in interior fit-out or contracting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
is essential.
Strong ability to read and interpret
technical drawings and specifications
.
Solid understanding of
local market rates
, material costs, and supplier networks.
Excellent
analytical, numerical, and problem-solving
skills.
Effective

abilities.
