Job Description

Responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for interior fit out projects, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining compliance with project specifications, company standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to understand scope of work. Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials, labor, subcontractors, and equipment. Analyze and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive pricing. Develop BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and prepare tender submissions within deadlines. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and designers to clarify scope and requirements. Track changes in design, scope, and pricing during pre- and post-tender stages. Evaluate risks, assumptions, and opportunities in pricing to support decision-making. Assist in preparing value engineering options to meet client budgets. Maintain updated database of suppliers, subcontractors, and material prices. Prepare cost reports and assist in project budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimator in Interior Fit Out projects in the UAE/GCC. Strong knowledge of joinery, partitions, ceilings, flooring, MEP coordination, and finishes. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
