Analyze project drawings, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates
Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
Prepare BOQs (Bills of Quantities) and material take-offs
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to understand project requirements
Track changes and adjust cost projections accordingly
Prepare tender and bid submissions
Assist with project budgeting and cost control
Maintain updated cost databases and pricing records
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Proficiency in estimation and take-off software (e.g., PlanSwift, AutoCAD, MS Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
