Work Description:

Lead and manage the entire tendering process from enquiry to submission. Review tender documents (drawings, BOQs, specifications) and identify scope of work, risks, and cost impacts. Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontract works. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical inputs. Develop value engineering proposals to optimize costs and improve competitiveness. Ensure timely submission of tenders and pre-qualification documents. Participate in tender clarifications, negotiations, and post-tender meetings with clients/consultants. Maintain updated cost databases, suppliers, and subcontractor rates. Prepare regular reports on bid performance, win/loss analysis, and market trends.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (Master's preferred). 7+ years of experience in estimation and tendering for a civil construction contracting company in The UAE/GCC. Strong knowledge of UAE construction market rates, codes, and authority requirements. Excellent understanding of BOQ, drawings, and contract terms. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimating software (Candy/CCS preferred). Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
